Direct protest?
Top comment. 'So Jan 6 defendants beat police and they get pardoned. Protesters with clean records get 100 years? Insane'
So the people have noticed. From the comments, it seems the government's persecution of these people is increasing support for them and their cause, and anti-fascism as an idea and movement.
One man got 30 years, who wasn't even at the protest, for conspiracy to conceal documents after he moved a box containing magazines and pamphlets considered to be Anti Fascist. A woman got 50 years for rioting, providing material support to terrorists, conspiracy to use and carry an explosive (which was fireworks).
Another comment. 'AntiFa is not an organization. It's not a club. It is not a foreign government. This is some Soviet BS. So, being against fascism is terrorism??!? wtf?'
Another. 'Can't get anymore Nazi than this when even protest is punished by extreme measures. What is even worse is how easy and quick it is for judges to undermine the Law.'
Another. 'If the government is not fascist, anti-fascist beliefs are not even remotely a threat. This is an admission that this government aspires to be fascist.'
It seems judges are being noticed by the public.
