Someone anonymously just called Child Protective Services and made a false report. The report was that someone heard he said he had done violent things, overheard him while he was in some random town which he'd never even been to.
It's like swatting, but has a child/abuse aspect.
He talked about the terror of CPS and the police coming to his house and telling him he could not even talk to his own children while they took them away, and that he could not stay with his children, and either he or they had to stay somewhere else that night, while the children and the man were questioned for serious crimes. Interrogation by CPS. Two 4-year-olds have to deal with the traumatic experience, the two men (they're gay) have to deal with it. Probably never forget it. Feel much less safe forever.
It's illegal to do this, but so what? How do you find an anonymous caller?
