Tried to force the players to wear rainbow outfits for a pride night game.
The spokesman for the baseball park said their primary priority was to be a 'welcoming' place, ie the priority is not baseball. They cancelled the game and held a pride night.
Another MLB team, the Giants, had special pride caps assigned them. Some refused to wear them, and some wore them but wrote bible verses on them. So now it's politicized.
MLB's Texas Rangers are the only team currently not holding a pride night.
The comments were overwhelmingly against MLB forcing this, or politicizing, or making it not about baseball, and in support of the players and their rights to not be forced.
