People are remarking that while (USA, UK, other first world) governments are βscrubbing porn from the internetβ (which everyone knows may just be attempts to further monitor internet users by forcing ID verification), and not βallowing teenage girls to learn about periods on Redditβ (I think that might be Australia), billionaires can sell you $30 a month access (to Grok) to creating free nonconsentual porn of anyone who's photo you give it (or it already has). Visa and Mastercard in Europe apparently recently said they wouldn't allow payments anymore for some explicit content. People allow this intervention though so far, so nothing you can really say about it. Many commenters saying it's fine if βthe astroid comesβ (I think Andrew Tate said this and people refer to it now), showing the lack of hope generally in the society in the face of irresponsible governments, which is the one thing, really, lacking, and the one thing the people have not become steeled enough to demand or force. When the people rebel in force, hope will reawaken.
Social media is less social now, people rarely post their own pictures and ideas. It's more produced content, fast fashion, hotels, advertising. Personal content can't compete.
