MIA compares the Liberal West (Vancouver) with China where there is no identity politics. In Vancouver, the staff will get to helping you when they feel like it, basically. They'll love you because you're brown, and they'll say ‘Namaste’ and whatever, but you won't get your bag because they don't care about it, she says. They don't want to take orders. What you get is chaos. So even if the Left wins, and there is 100% Left and no more Right, the country's not going to function.
In China, people move out of the way and listen when you speak, they do what you need them to do. You get a service for your money and the service is impecable. And they also know the karmic values of things.
If you join up all of the European peoples, you get a billion people, and can they go up against how organized China is? No, they cannot. Europe has got history, some shared culture. The lifestyle costs so much more and what you get is so much less. The freedom in your mind, and not having hate at your front door, and to have to be subjected to such things, and have to compute and have to explain that to your child, and to reframe who you are within this context, and figure all this out. And to live in it, you almost have to build this box for yourself. And when you leave, you don't have to have this box. ‘And I have to keep reminding my child that this is not reality, and cheer on people, if you want leaders, it's just facts, you cannot have people that are not intelligent running any type of country.'

She points to that China doesn't have multiculturalism, so they don't have the many wheels turning at the same time. They have a collective base, where they're starting from.

SM, requires content creation, but then everyone's talking all the time, and then not everyone's pleased, which leads to we have to talk in a different way. That noise doesn't exist there.
