Maybe MSFT doesn't want to keep pouring money into OpenAI, which is still losing money.
This is the first time on MSM I've seen a real entrance of the idea that AGI or anything further along than useful but to a low point chatbots/autocompletes/database interaction, which is what AI is so far.
