US taken advantage of by other countries, working with the drug companies, that they were going to pay less (US would pay the rest). Trump explained. Congress etc were ‘sort of afraid of them.’ Bobby said he had never seen a president stand up to industry leaders and say ‘We can’t do that. We're going to do it a different way.'
‘Not to do it would have taken far more courage. Because I was tired of it.’ Trump on confronting and saying no to the lobbyists and their politicians. 'The hardest thing, he [a congressman] said, was trying to justify why [US is paying much more].
He said he wants to get someone to police it. ‘I’ve done the order. It's done. But we have to get somebody that's go a lot of strength and a lot of power , because you have to implement it, because these countries are going to go down fighting. They don't want this to happen. Because [their prices are going to go up].'
He said that the other countries might try to resist (raising drug prices 15% so US can lower theirs 60%). He said he'd just say ‘That’s fine, we're not going to let you sell any more cars or any more wine or any more of anything that's actually much more important to them than the drugs' in the US. ‘We’re going to be able to force that issue if we need to.'
He said if a country holds out, they would have to not do business with that country, and they'd have to ‘be very tough until it’s stablized and equalized.'
‘And if you don't do it I am firing every single one of you.'
‘Speed is very important, because we can do this immediately. It doesn't take 2 years, 3 years. It doesn't take a month. So do the best you can.' He said to Oz. He earlier commented on how this things are signed on but they take effect in 4 years, and then 4 years later someone has changed it.
Also, it seems like Bobby's rep is at an all time high. I mean, it seems it's always been high. But he could be president later. Just so competent and sincere. Not a superstar like Trump, and Trump has become super presidential lately, like Putin or Kim Jong level presidential, just comfortable, talking through things and hitting all the points in the right way for the people and for all the players. Never seen anything like it in the West.
