Callaghan is sort of following a story about what precedes people joining conspiracy or extremist movements. One guy he interviewed started yelling about the Epstein Client List and the Suez Canal is blocked by human traffickers connected to the Clinton foundation, and then he says ‘Just like Bill Joiner stole my home from me.’ ‘Wait a second, did he just fit his personal [situation] into the grander arc happening in the country.’ Bill Joiner had just given him a loan, which he couldn't pay and had to give the home up because it was collateral. ‘They fraudulently took my home and then they fraudulently took this country.’ ... He talked to other people, and a lot of their stories connected to the recession in 2008 and different financial hardships connected to rising cost of living.
