Futurehome CEO threatens police action after I offer $5,000 bounty to free his ransomed customers (youtube.com)
Smart devices that no longer work on will only work if you pay an extortion fee to the company.

Norwegian company sold a bunch of smart home devices, then went bankrupt, so they sold the company, and the new owners pushed an update that made the already installed devices in peoples homes not work anymore, unless the owners start paying a subscription fee.

Rossman offered $5k for anyone who hacks this so they work. CEO said this was illegal hacking. Is it?

It seems Rossman is increasingly frustrated, ie actual expression of anger. Including Alex Jones style outbursts on his videos. Does this mean we're a bit closer to people actually getting angry, standing up for themselves, and taking actual action against companies and governments?

Comment 'You might want to point your attorneys to Norwegian Criminal Code Sections 382, 383, 384, 385, 387, and 388. Especially section 385: Fraudulent Double Sale.' ... But I'd rather that people were pushed a bit futher, until they actually develop awareness and response to mistreatment.
