His legal team filed applications with the US Patent and Trademark Office, and they would have defined the scope of goods and services the trademarked persona wants to protect (entertainment, advertising, endorsements, training on AI models, voice cloning, deepfakes, licensing control). In US law you have to file in writing. TM fees are like $250 or $350 in the US.
