I have these pictures from a better time. When things were beautiful, and seeing images people posted of beauty you wanted to chase it and achieve it in and for yourself too. You joined this circle of people who had done it. There's a black and white pciture, from Tumblr no doubt, of a young man and woman pressed up against each other, an arm around the other, kissing ‘let’s get drunk together so I can kiss you and then blame it on the vodke.' Hard to believe now, at that time that was a fun sexy reminder, something that reminded us to go do that. Now it's a vicious counterattack against sexist and unjust attacks against men, proof. But I have those photos, tons of them, from another year I know, and I can plaster my walls with them and forget all the current shit.
