Case Adjourned When Jurors Can't Be Found Who Are Willing to Convict (youtube.com)
‘What if we told you there was a law against someone feeding the homeless (without the city's permission), and what if someone did this, could you vote to convict him?’

In this case it seems the people weren't too against the law, but against the possible fine of $500.

Too many potential jurors said that even if he were found guilty, they were unwilling to issue the fine the city attorney was seeking.

‘They’re not openminded enough to be able to enforce the law.'

It was a loosly organized group that serves meals in a parking lot to people in need.

‘So far the city has lost every single case.’
