He criticizes that the press etc in Portland refer to them as ‘antifascists’ thus giving them a ‘propaganda victory.’ He claims that when Antifa claims they are defending a neighborhood it actually means offensive violence.
Joe Rogan talked about how weird it is to see these groups of young people with idealistic versions of what they're doing (organizing, wearing masks, physically assaulting often with mace or whatever people who are just disagreeing and where there was no hint of physical conflict). A lot of people involved really think they are fighting fascism, they think Trump and Proud Boys etc need the young to stand up against them.
