Most anti-ICE sentiment I've heard for months has been because people want a country where rule of law is respected, and there aren't anonymous masked, untrained or barely-trained gangs of quasi-police carrying out things that the citizens don't even know what their real mandate is, sometimes arresting (abusing) and harming (sometimes killing) innocents.
