Latin America turning away from traditional leanings?
Bolivians voted for the one party USA told them not to vote for (meddling?). Partially nationalized oil and gas, funding government socialist programs, created a middle class. Inflation remained low, surprising some people.
Problem seems to be just that they kept spending, and spent way more than they had, continually, until the economy corrected.
