Canada is just a country with no political hope. No one likes any of the candidates, and most people seem to hate Carney, but he is elected (as a minority government). No one who's cool goes into politics in Canada. In school, simply no one wants to go into politics. Maybe that one kid in the school who wears suits to school every day and idolizes the PM. Eventually, some business people when they're adults go into local politics. Maybe it's different somewhat in the cities. Also, Canadians are completely docile, and will allow any leader to do anything to them he wants, including violating their rights, sending all their money to some country they don't care about, etc. They simply will never oppose any government.
It's one of those countries where you can only seeing things getting worse and worse, because no one cares enough or feels it's a possibility to oppose anything. They just complain about government, but without ever doing anything or even voicing real opposition. There are tiny groups of protesters, but they don't support them.
