On Mandami's commie grocery stores, like 5 of them one in each burrough of NYC, one week per month 30% off, won't be selling intoxicants (any will or won'ts should be considered the ‘starting point’ description, or foot in the door). Will New Yorkers rush and have lineups on that week, will shelves stay open? Grocery stores make 2% or whatever margins, so how will they buy the things they put in the stores? The stores will cost taxpayers $70m or something. Will the other grocery stores go out of business? If that happens, will people have no choice but to only shop at the commie shops? and then they can raise the prices?
They will also be checking IDs (to make sure people aren't coming from New Jersey).
They will pay their workers above market wages, employees won't have to work hard there. Everyone is going to want to do business with them.
