This is pretty regular though, and done for special occasions like Mothers' Day, so not sure how much might have to do with US politics. Also, if there were an invasion of Nicaragua like Venezuela, US wouldn't be able to make a headline by releasing a handful of political prisoners like they did in Venezuela, I suppose.
