‘Free trade is great, but GDP isn’t just a number, it's people.' Eisman said he thinks Trump is taking that view, because in the past couple decades since they started to drum into us that free trade is good, tariffs are bad, there have been benefits, but people have lost entire towns.
Eisman laughed, saying that Trump said he was going to do it, and now he's doing it, and everybody's shocked [because that's unusual for a politician].
