Why does the US government no longer need to work with Apple to gain access to spying on everyone? Is the spying deal locked into tech (iPhones, Android devices) and done, and ubiquitous, and they only need Palantir to parse it? Or is the USgov just pushing for a non-global information system (US only companies, whereas Apple is in China and other places, Meta and Google bend to comply with other governments).
