Lol the politician talking about how engineers on military ships can't repair microwave ovens and things, well they can, but they can't because they have to talk to the company etc, who has to talk to someone else etc.
Palantir is part of this problem, it seems, somehow. Data as a service, versus right to repair. The politicians who push data as a service, their campaigns are funded by the defense industry, their employee goes on to work for a lobbying firm that represents Palantir, sensible language that saves the US taxpayer money is replaced with garbage that allows Palantir to rob the American public fund.
If it takes hold, it could dominate the consumer space in the US for 30 to 50 years, Rossman suggest.
