Tech we use is already built for a person to use when they're alone. But the tech those companies are developing, like AI glasses, etc, only makes sense in a consumer environment where people are more alone, 'because that is the only environment where it feels ok to use voice commands with your phone... wearing AR glasses or an Apple Vision Pro.
People all already freeze up a bit when they're in public, because we're all aware we don't want to be in someone's stupid viral video. People don't dance in clubs as much. These companies want to see you a computer you wear on your face that is recording people around you 24 7.
