Used AI to create their brief, which included made up cases as cited cases, and the real cases cited, it cited information that wasn't actually in those cases.
They will probably have to make it a crime to falsely cite false information, because I don't know what else would curb this. ... ‘Effect of signature’ means that the signature of a person constitutes a certification by the person that they have read the document, to the best of his knowledge the document is well grounded in fact or good faith, and the document isn't interposed with anything that would cause needless delay or work.
But this also probably means people will start to believe that AI will never replace lawyers.
