Huawei might have lithography machines soon. AI driven systems? ASML's 2 to 3 nm chips are maybe the US's biggest advantage in the AI race. There's only one company that makes these machines. DUV lithography also China pushed further than was thought likely, down to like 7nm, and these are comparable but use more power than the EUV. ('Deep' versus ‘extreme’.) ... China's lithography tech isn't just a copy, probably, but seems to be finding other ways to do the same thing, and get primacy. ... US also has compiler and software advantage so far.
