Is this another sign of a break from / don't-care-about US government? US obviously plays Russia-Ukraine a certain way. Europe, it hopes, will play along. But Europe might be like, forget it already?
I mean, why not open talks? The world doesn't seem overly concerned about ending the war. It's more just accepted, it seems.
